Im having an issue on 1 of my tapes...... I think the spool lock isnt working right... It doesnt REW/FF well, keeps stopping,etc.........

Someone suggested removing the locks and see if its better.... I tried putting it in another shell but the same thing happens.....

I have movies that are longer and are fine so im not sure what the issue is...... (STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE ORIGINAL RELEASE (No extra 12 minutes))

I dunno........

Yeah... sticky shed syndrome. Or maybe a moldy tape. If it's not mold, you can use a food dehydrator to solve the problem. Make sure you clean your VCR: capstan, pinch roller... You don't want that to get onto other tapes...
