I've been recording the Raccoons and by accident I left the Recorder on XP mode for a couple of episodes. I'm putting 5 to a disc with Ulead DVD Workshop 2 and am having trouble fitting them on a disc. What is the best way to encode them down to an SP file size?

something like tmpgenc xpress or some other converter.
or possibly encode it to the bloated size, then use dvd shrink to fit onto a dvd.
for cartoons, either should be okay.
but then again, i'm not expert enough to give a definitive answer.
other than to say, i've used both methods and i have no complains!

I suggest using MainConcept 1.4 or higher for the best quality conversion. It's the best one out there right now, and it's what I use when I do something like this.

DVD Shrink will lose a lot of quality, especially on homemade discs. Stick to true encoders, and use the better ones.
