Has anyone used JES_Deinterlacer?

I went looking for a newer version of JES_Extensifier, which I've used to deal with QuickTime gamma flagging, when I read that the same person had created a deinterlacer and IVTC program. I can't seem to find much about it online. I'm assuming it was Mac only. Has anyone ever used it?

I've seen this. It's crap. Mostly blends fields. It's worse than Yadif, which is worse than QTGMC.
