Working on some VHS home movie transfers. One tape is old 8mm camera footage that was transferred to VHS by a local video store years ago. This is a little above my wheelhouse for any restoration so I'm looking for any suggestions of VirtualDub filters + settings and Avisynth plugins/scirpts.

Capture setup: JVC HR-S7900 -> Cypress AVT-8120 -> ATI 600 USB clone -> VirtualDub w/ Huffyuv

Included a clip

Thank you!

I see burnt out highlights and a blue cast. Do you have the original 8mm film footage? It may look a whole lot better.
