Hello,
I use standard VCR (Samsung SV125FK), DVDR passthrough (Pioneer DVR 320-S) with Pinnacle USB-500 and Virtual Dub (S-Video). The VHS are SECAM-L (France).

On some of the tapes, and only on part of the tape, I have pink frames plus B&W flickering. Is that what is called "pinking"? Or what it is called?

I tried to correct this by adjusting head alignement on VCR, but I have only two buttons and no idea how is the resolution. Somehow I cannot get it better.

1. Where does it come from? From the VCR reading the tape, or from the tape itself when it was recorded?
2. Can it be fixed theoritically with another recorder or DVDR passthrough (I do not have anything else to try).
3. Can it be fixed with Avisynth, if yes what kind of filter/settings?

Thanks.

PS: I compressed the sample with h264 from huffyuv to upload.
