Hi,

I want to convert VHS tapes to digital, and I want to be interested in the set-up that will do the project in the best way.
First I plan to purchase one of JVC's S-VHS models From the 9600+ series (I am thinking of the HR-S9700EU). I have about something like 50 Regular VHS tapes at home that I want to convert to a computer.

This is my computer specs (it was recently purchased):

Intel core i5 10400
16GB RAM 2666MHz
Gigabyte B460M D3H
Corsair CX550M
Windows 10 Home 64bit

I have a question about purchasing an S-VHS .. Which site is better to buy from? I understand eBay is not a good idea? And which video capture card is the best you can recommend for Windows 10? Thanks for answering and sorry for my English..

and what about external TBC? Do I need one like this? Most of the recordings (I think most of them) are about SP mode
