Problems with blurry/ghost vhs clip recorded on DVD recorder
 

Hi,
I have a clip that has big issues:

This comes from vhs recorded with dvd recorder. Looks like the problem is ghost.
Is there any way this can be improved in virtualdub or whatever?

I'm adding the attachment to this post. It's small enough to be spanned across two RAR files.

I don't know that this can be fixed.

It's not a simple ghosting issue, this was a problem from the original broadcast -- poor antenna reception, if I had to guess. (Maybe bad cable reception?)

This isn't the typical luma/chroma shift, or even electronic interference ghosting. This is more like a double exposure. I'm not readily away of a method to fix that -- I've never come across it in a project.
