How to remove timecode from digital video?

hello I have a beta tape transfert to dvd and a logo (same as a timecode) has been added on the top of it.
this has been made professionaly from a tv station [8] Is there a way to remove it 100% without just blurring it? here s a screenshot Attachment 932 Cordially lounisproduction2010 |
It's impossible.
That's a permanent part of the video. It's not on a layer that can be removed. There's nothing "hidden" behind the time code. The only way to "remove" it would be to cut a hole in the video. Blurring it out is simply not an option -- that just makes an ugly mess. Given the amount of noise on the tape (herringbone power noise lines, chroma noise, color bleeding and grain), and the presence of the timecode embedded in the video, there's no way that's a professional production. At best, it's a copy of a copy of a proof copy of a professional production. Sorry, but you'll have to use better sources for a logo-free version. |
thank for you help Admin. :)
