Found old ADC (DBX) "Video Sharper" processor at thrift store
 

Anybody ever heard of this unit? ADC (DBX co.) Video Sharper V-500x Visual processor...w/RCA jacks only! I can get it for $12.50 and looks pretty decent?.Looks like an early Pro-sumer gadget.,But I would hate to screw up my VCR or AIW card if it isn't worth it!!(or has internal electrical flaws?...However I was thinking it could be placed b4 or after TBC, Pre-capture card?

What year is it from?

Not sure what year,all I have is notes ,did not buy it,But I would guess late 80's to early 90's having only RCA jacks, it looks like a single space rack component,but with feet,no rack mount ears....Nothing on the internet about it either,But good question!,think I'll go see if it's still there,maybe just get it,but how could I test it w/o plugging into my precious system?
