Hi,

capped a short clip of this show, looks to be broadcast at a low sd res.

I have re-encoded to MPEG-2 dvd compliant file. Would it be well served to filter it? If so what filters?

thanks

It's field-blend deinterlaced. That's permanent damage. Nothing you can do

What are you using to capture this avi? It's frame rate is 48.2 fps, it has out of phase duplicate fields and telecine glitches. It's crapped-up video from the word go. I can't believe it was broadcast that way, and no way was it broadcast at that frame rate. Youy can tell it was film source, which is never simple interlace.

If its' "low sd res", how did it get to be 1920x1080?
