Convert historical Fiat videos from 360p to 480p?

Hi, I noticed that unfortunately this channel has videos only in 360p, and it's a real shame. It would be extraordinary to be able to bring them at least 480 pixels. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJM...JEnWUJGgO34H9A

That YouTube video is not an original from the FIAT center. It is a low bitrate YouTube WEBM re-encode and has likely been resized from the original.

Yes, I think so too, but I do not know where I could find the original videos

That's not how it works. The detail is 360p, and can never be upconverted in term of image resolutions.

You can sometimes try to fake higher resolution with enhancement tricks, but not with this low-end Youtube source.

The difference between 360p and 480p is negligible anyway.

Just enjoy the video as is. At least they don't look terrible, seem to come from good original sources, and processed professionally. A TBC was obviously in use, some color correction, maybe even filtering passes.

Some of the videos looks like they've originally been shot on film (one of the videos mentions 35mm film footage), and then telecined to some video tape format. In that case one could have made a much higher res video from it with the original film source, though they've done a great job with digitizing the vidoe tapes at least. Looks like they've used a good quality deinterlacer (for non-film stuff) unlike a lot of other youtube videos.

Not much one can do as an end-user though.

For now I do not have a PC, what could I do with my cell phone?

You can watch them, and be satisfied with the decent quality that they are.
