I am having trouble loading a VirtualDub processing settings file (vcf). I get the error "cannot add filter 'color camcorder denoise 1.7': no such filter loaded." I made sure I have CCD 1.7 by using the link Sanlyn references in post 4 of the recent Camcorder capturing: aspect ratio, dropped frames, green lines? thread. I made sure to put the plugin in the Plugin folder of my VirtualDub 1.9.11 program folder. The plugin shows as CCD with a 04/25/09 2:27 AM date and 52KB size. Any idea why this is failing?

Here is the vcf file information. It is a recommended set of VirtualDub filters for a clip Sanlyn analyzed a few months ago.

VirtualDub.audio.SetSource(1);
VirtualDub.audio.SetMode(0);
VirtualDub.audio.SetInterleave(1,500,1,0,0);
VirtualDub.audio.SetClipMode(1,1);
VirtualDub.audio.SetConversion(0,0,0,0,0);
VirtualDub.audio.SetVolume();
VirtualDub.audio.SetCompression();
VirtualDub.audio.EnableFilterGraph(0);
VirtualDub.video.SetInputFormat(0);
VirtualDub.video.SetOutputFormat(8);
VirtualDub.video.SetMode(3);
VirtualDub.video.SetSmartRendering(0);
VirtualDub.video.SetPreserveEmptyFrames(0);
VirtualDub.video.SetFrameRate2(0,0,1);
VirtualDub.video.SetIVTC(0, 0, 0, 0);
VirtualDub.video.SetCompression();
VirtualDub.video.filters.Clear();
VirtualDub.video.filters.Add("Color Camcorder Denoise 1.7");
VirtualDub.video.filters.instance[0].Config(30,1);
VirtualDub.video.filters.Add("smart smoother (1.1)");
VirtualDub.video.filters.instance[1].Config(3, 25, 1);
VirtualDub.audio.filters.Clear();

Thanks,
Steve

Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
As if the world wasn't insane enough these days, every version of this .vdf filter is named "ccd.vdf", despite the fact that there are 4 versions floating around. The 4/25/2009 version you cite above is actually version 1.6MT and also goes by the name of ccd_sse2, even though it's exactly the same version 1.6MT.

I have just now renamed every version of the Color Camcorder Denoise filter in my inventory so that the name reflects the proper version number. Attached is ccd17.zip, which contains ccd17.vdf (version 1.7, dated September 5, 2013). Delete the former ccd.vdf from your plugin folder, or save it in another location where it won't do any harm. Only the newer v1.7 vdf should be in your plugins.
