Not sure I understand what you need to do.

Shear or share?
VCR or VHS tape?
Add subtitles to an existing video that is currently on VHS tape?
One time one video, or many copies for distribution?
What will be the final product?
What quality level do you need?
Is there a budget?

Posts like the always amuse me.

I doubt the person will ever reply, as this sort of thing is always a drive-by posting to dozens of forums -- none of which will help this person.

- We're not going to hurry. Your boss pays you, not us. We've all been paid nothing.
- Video takes time. And you posted on Thursday, so "this week" is already gone.
- Why were you tasked with a video project when you don't know anything about video? Stupid boss? You volunteered, but got in over your head?

Shear = cut?

A VCR is an analog video machine from the 1970s. You can't cut with it, nor add subtitles to it.

I've generally one of the nicest video members you'll find online, but I've never taken kindly to "help me" when it involves something that you were paid to do, or a school project. That's not what the internet is for. It's not for cheating, not for doing your job for you.
