Hi everyone,
I finally have all the elements for the acquisition chain. While waiting for TBC from Lordsmurf I got an ATi All In Wonder 9000 (Theater 200 chip), so I prefer to use this as a capture card in a dedicated WinXP pc. Everything is protected by an APC 400VA UPS. One question, could it help to make a connection between the external boxes of the three devices with a ground wire between them so as to have as little interference as possible?
- Panasonic NV-FS200
- Cypress / TvOne 1T-TBC-GL (metal case)
- PC case

Probably not necessary unless you are seeing/hearing evidence of grounding issues. But it can't hurt, so if you want to do it proactively, go for it.

Thanks, I have no evidence at the moment, it was more of a clarification :-)
