Which workflow from capture to final cut ?
 

Hi,

I'm wondering what's the best wf from capture to final edition ?
As i'm capturing VHS, Video8 or DV, the question is mainly begining or finishing with my editor (adobe premiere pro), so:

1. capture in avi huffyuv
2. QTGMC to deinterlace only, in virtual dub
2b. Which format should I use to export my deinterlaced video ? to go to
3. Adobe premiere to cut and post treatment
4. Final export in adobe (but not too happy with the way adobe decoder works) or back to virtualdub for final encoding (and which format to use) ?

The other possibility is to swap Adobe and QTGMC so:

1. capture in avi huffyuv
2. Adobe premiere to cut and post treatment
2b. Which format should I use to export my video ? to go to
3. QTGMC to deinterlace only, in virtual dub
4. Final export in virtualdub for final encoding (and which format to use) ?
