I record TV shows and movies to my computer using ATI MMC with Lord Smurfs Cartoon settings . So a 30 minute show is 700 mb , MPEG-2 .

Is there any good free software to burn these MPEG-2 videos to DVD ? I'd like to keep the quality as good as possible and fit 5 or 6 shows on a DVD .

Is DVDflick any good ?

I have corel videostudio pro x3 and did a test burning of one 30 minute show that had a file size of 700 mb . But when I loaded the video file into corel it said the video was 1.8 Gigs . I'm not sure why it said it was 1.8 Gigs when it is really only a 700 mb file , which is strange .

corel videostudio pro x3 any good for what I wanna do ?

Simple DVD Creator works great for menu-less discs, http://www.digitalfaq.com/forum/dvd-...html#post18469

Corel anything is honestly not very good.
Not for authoring, at least. It's not bad at some of the other tasks.

This is an excellent, simple program for menu-less authoring of DVDs. However, one in 50 authorings I do, I encounter problem in that this software will not generate all the files required in the Video_TS folder. In such cases, I go for another program (DVDIt V 5.0 which came free with my DVD burner).

But my main program for authoring menu-less DVD's for the movies I capture off satellite is Simple DVD Creator.

Good to see kpmedia back in action, answering questions after a brief, yet understandable gap.

regards

You can load multiple video files by clicking on ADD button. When the authored DVD is played on a DVD player, the videos will be played sequentially in the order in which you added them.
