I was wondering if the laptop I am currently using will have what it takes to capture Hi8 and 8mm video using ATI600 and virtual dub?

Windows 7 Home Premium
64 bit
AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.65GHz
4 GB RAM

Yes it will.

We have several laptops here, with similar specs, and using Windows 7 64-bit.
Also slower/older ones that are Windows XP, too.
