Is this a reasonable price? A bit lost...

I found the JVC HR-S9600 for about 400 Euro. It's from an online shop which someone here on the boards recommended: https://www.ebay.de/itm/JVC-HR-S9600...NEr:rk:14:pf:0
Is it not too expensive?

The thing is that I found the Panasonic NV-FS200 local (I am in Germany) and it's so much cheaper: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Panasonic-NV...4383.l4275.c10
It's not just this seller, I found more FS200 at arond this price.

The discrepancy is so big that I got insecure about which one to buy...

The price is to high for the JVC. I would not pay more than 300,00 for the unit.
The price is not bad for the FS200 but if you have to replace some capacitors in the power supply the price can get higher.

Ok, thanks a lot for the answer.

We did purchase a NV-HS1000 from the positron-e ebay vendor, which is based in Germany. It was packed properly and worked fine, so I presume they are a serious shop. There seems to be a bunch of other vendors too, maybe bogilein knows more about which one can be recommended.

There are a number of other recommended JVC models and the Philips analogues that can be found cheaper than the 9600, so they may also be worth checking out if you think the price on the 9600 is a bit steep. There is a long list of which ones have the desired features in the buying guide. I don't know if there is a large difference in quality between the higher-end or lower-end models or if the differences are more in editing features which doesn't matter too much when capturing.

Oh, yeah, I came across this seller yesterday, I will check it out again.
