So as I have posted in another forum about a site I am in the works on what I am looking to do into addition with the Video section. Is I want to be able to add a comment section at the bottom any thoughts on this? I am using the phpfox system as far as CMS and I would love to some how tie the user's from that system in a comment type box if you know what I mean.

You'll probably have to look into add-ons, plug-ins or mods of some kind, to achieve this added non-OOB (out-of-box) functionality. A Google search pulls this site up: http://www.konsort.org -- might be a good place to start.

True still researching this I have found a independent comment system but would need to be intergrated with the site users somehow. The only other issue's that I have ran into this software was the refresh problem when a user types in the domain name: http://www.rangerprops.com. They get a page cannot be displayed and they have to refresh the page then the page will load. Im not sure what is up with that... problem is this is a index.php and not a html. Trying to locate a work around for this were when they type the url it will go directly to that without having to refresh.

It was working fine when I saw it last, when it was closer to the out-of-the-box setup. Some of your customizations have likely corrupted something. Trust me, I know that all too well, been there many times myself. You need to revert to defaults and try again, if you're not able to undo custom work one step at a time.

Well as I thought that as well I went and did a test install of the software script itself and tested it with another domain I own that I need to eventually get done www.halloweenjunk.com you will see the original blank version self. Were when loading the website you will have to do a refresh on the site in order for it to come up. I am not sure what on this script is not working properly I have ran the debug mode and not getting anything on that.. hmm

It might be a problem with the PHP version being run.

You deserve props for RangerProps -- it look nice.
Yes, yes, lame joke.

Anyway, why is there a scroll bar left/right in Firefox 3.5 ?
Chrome, too.
I'm going to guess IE8 and K-Meleon act the same.
Fix it.

That eBay logo in the chat bar is pretty badly distorted.

Final Fury is too dark for my tastes. Awful skinny, too.

Red MMPR Classic looks nice. Best one, to me. Still a bit dark, not sure it's "Ranger enough" for me. Rangers was more about Rainbow colors, not black and grays.
I'm not a fan of the % width change. Fixed is easier to work with. And gives you as designer more control. Just keep it 1024px or less width (no less than 960-970px or so) -- still a very common screen size.

The RangerProps theme is my least favorite, it's too skinny, the graphics look VGA dated (1995ish), and the colors are still too dark.

I really like the CometChat -- glad to discover this. I may want to use this at you-know-where. (I've asked the forum what they think!) I wish it had a "group chat" or "chat room" functionality, not just one-on-one chatting. Like the old chat room at you-know-where.

"Downgraded" to vBulletin? I don't know that I'd ever call vB a downgrade, given what it does, and how easy it makes everything. Just remember to secure it, locking down admins in the config.php, and password protecting (and renaming!) your admincp folder

yea I am not a fan of some of the skins which I am currently working on to add new ones some of the banners were created by member as I havent had alot of time to make any just yet. I too like the red mmpr. Yea the facebook bar is customizable that is why I like it. However havent had a chance to edit the themes to fixed as they were created by others..

I was joking when I said downgraded lol...

Figuring on a 1024x768 minimum support resolution, expect to make the content width about 970 pixels. And then any tables nested inside others (be it HTML tables or CSS), need to be smaller than the outer forum shell. Remember to include margin and padding when adding up your numbers. 200 width + 200 width does not equal 400 if each object has a 10 pixel margin!! Easy mistake.

Yea i didnt really create the templates that you saw... I am working on correcting them as I am redoing and working on creating a custom front page interface for my site now built on the vbulletin system. So I will try to see if I can correct the style cod'ing errors as there is alot that i am comming across as I try to create this custom front page in vbulletin.

Now this is a wip :

Also was able to merge chat software to the forum database .. you have to be a member though to get in it. Link to it can be found in nav bars
