CMS options

The following is a list of Content Management Systems (CMS) that were found during a recent search into available technologies, including any notes or thoughts.

NOTE: This is far from a complete list, and it excludes well-known CMS such as WordPress, Drupal, Community Sever, Joomla/Mambo, Ektron.
  • ModX - more info - looks like work to me, I'm not in the mood to learn another CMS, worth re-visiting should the need arise
  • Tribiq - costs money, but has free community version, not sure of limitations off-hand, looks like a more-complex version of WordPress and nothing more - didn't spend much time looking at it, just logged it as a CMS option if needed
  • Subdreamer - of all the CMS I've looked at, this appears to be one of the best runner-ups from WordPress. The forum integration options are especially enticing and beneficial

Another CMS is Subdreamer... simple and comes with many options to add plug-ins and you can also create some plugins as well.
