FV Code Highlighter unlink error (WordPress plugin)

The instructions for installing the FV Code Highlighter WordPress plugin are incomplete. :2cents:

Quote:

Installation Steps
- Upload the folder fv-code-highlighter to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
- Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
- Choose your preferred settings on the options page: WP Admin > Appearance > Code Highlighter.
- Place your code between [code type=codetype] .. code .. [/code] tags to use the highlighter. Replace codetype with the type of code you like to highlight (e.g. php).
If you simply follow the instructions provided by the developer, you'll get this error:
Code:

Warning: unlink(X:\...\wp-content\plugins\fv-code-highlighter\cache/xxxxxxxxx) [function.unlink]:
Permission denied in X:\...\wp-content\plugins\fv-code-highlighter\classes\Cache.php on line 101

In order for the plugin to work properly, you need to give write/modify permissions to the "cache" folder, located inside the FV Code Highlighter plugin folder. As a WordPress developer or user, you should (and probably do) already know how to set folder write permissions on your Linux or Windows server (or hosting account) -- because it will vary from webserver to webserver.

Once that's done, you won't have any more issues. :thumb:
