This can be a first reason of the problem : you use the last beta GUI but with an old (stable) release of the tool. DL the last beta of besweet.exe also.

If you are doing that from a source that is a movie on DVD, then you DON'T have to change anything on the framerate.

But the best thing to do is to demux the audio from the vobs. AS I told oyu I had problems when doing audio directly out of avi sources. And guess what is the dll used for reading avi ? ... the one used for reading vobs :!:

im not doing avi
im going sright from the dvd source that i pulled with dvd shrink

but took ur advise got the beta ver of besweet sooo tryin to encode again
will this merge correcly?

Read again my post :!:
I told you that the dll used for reading avis is the same as the one for reading vobs. And it gives problems on the avis. So what is your conclusion ?

You just do something wrong ! Noone has synch prob. Give the line of the command generated by besweetGUI.

"d:\Shared\Appz\Video Stuff\Video&Audio_Rip Toolz\BeSweetGUIv0.7b4+all Add_ons\BeSweet.exe" -core( -input "e:\DvD Ripping\Vobs\Malibus_Most_Wanted\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1 .vob" -output "e:\DvD Ripping\Vobs\Malibus_Most_Wanted\VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1 .mp2" -logfilea "D:\Shared\Appz\Video Stuff\Video&Audio_Rip Toolz\BeSweetGUIv0.7b4+all Add_ons\BeSweet.log" ) -azid( -c normal -L -3db ) -ota( -hybridgain ) -ssrc( --rate 48000 ) -mp2enc( -m s -b 192 -e ) -profile( DSPguru_MP2_for_DVD )

Thats the script its running. But rember im converting the vobs to 29.976=>23.976 with 3:2 pulldown

Okay so you are still working from the vob. As already said, that can be your problem. Try after correct demux of thje ac3 stream.

Yes it is.
(note : if you plan to do a KDVD, no need to mux : this will be done by the authoring tool when you will do the DVD).
