HeadAC3he: Resample to 44.1kHz bug, box unchecks itself ?
I'm trying to use HeadAC3he to convert a 32khz/192kbps MP2 file into a 44.1/192 file MP2. Using the program I check the box that says: "Resample to" and I select the 44.1 setting. But when I press start to begin the conversion, the box unchecks itself and the file conversion proceeds and creates a 32khz/224kbps file.
I tried the same thing to make a WAV file instead of going from MP2 to MP2, but as soon as I press start, the box unchecks itself again and I don't get the conversion I wanted. Can anyone help me out with this or is it a bug? |
Use an other soft ;-)

I guess I have to. I kinda liked the interface on HeadAC3he. I haven't had much luck with BeSweet. Have you any suggestion?

Besweet also have problems with 32Khz and that is normal as hey both use the same librairy to work (ssrc.dll and mp2enc.dll) !
When I have a 32Kz I first convert it into 44.1 with tmpgenc (I extract the audio as wav and set the ouput to 44.1). It is known to not be a good tool for tha audio but at least this works ! OR you can surely use virtualdub (not sure). |
I'd use SSRC (the commandline version) to do the job. For some reason the dll doesn't do proper conversion with some combinations but the CLI hasn't failed me yet.
