BeSweet Wizard: Besweet log file not created

I have a problem whilst using besweet I'm hoping someone can please help me with. I have used the GUI but I preffer the Wizard more for ease of use and speed really.

This is the Problem: I get the opening page and load my MP3 file etc, and go through the motions of the settings I want. When I get to the end and I am ready to press "GO", A message comes up saying Besweet log file not created would I like to create one?.

Selecting "YES" brings up a notepad
Selecting "NO" or cancel does nothing it just reverts back to the stage where I press go. Pressing "GO" again throws up the same question.

I have been in the gui and pointed it in the direction of BeSweet.exe and as far as I am aware everything looks OK.
I have used the wizard for a long time without a problem. Then one day It no longer worked and I got the above problem

If you have a solution can you give it to me in plain English as I am new to all this and I tend to get baffled pretty easily.

Anyone's help would be eternally appreciated.

Any help or suggestions would be good.

Do not use the wizard.

(and please stop using bold face in all your posts).

yeh ok i'll stop using bold.

I like to use the wizard as it automaticaly corrects delay. I have tried using the GUI and it produces about a second of delay behind the dialogue on a 25fps MP3.

I have set the ms to +1000 and I still have the same problem.

One more question? In leaving the FPS boxes un-checked (grayed out)
in the GUI am I ordering the program Besweet to leave the FPS alone?
(no change)

Sorry for the bold Phil....

The wizard does not do anything that the GUI can't (or does not do).
If your file need a delay, just check the delay box ! And if you want it to be inserted automatically, check also the DVD2AVI box. That's it.

Your problem is REALLY not related to Wizard/GUI.
You are doing something wrong in the GUI, that's all. You should try to understand where you are wrong insteed of rely on the wizard. Else no one will be abble to help you.
If that can help you, just copy the command line here and detail what is your problem exactly.

Hi there phil, I am attempting to encode an MP3 into an AC3. When you say just tick the box (Delay) do I need to place any values in it or should I leave it alone?

Also you mention ticking The DVD-AVI box, The source file (MP3) was extracted from an AVI. Dont know if this makes a difference but the DVD-AVI box is permenently grayed out. Anyway I had another go at doing the Encode from the wizard I pressed "GO" and the notepad came up straight away with this inside it
