HeadAC3he: Wav problem, MP2 version file size is too small?

Ok here is the deal I have a 111 mb wav file which is 111 mb and when i encode it to mp2 it is only abot 11 mb.

I think i need a wav fixer or sumtin but in teh beginnin it worked fine, it encoded fine.

But now it doesnt encode cuz i accidentaly deleted it.

I think it mite be a codec problem or sumtin so i'll check on that.

But is there a wav fixer out there?

Pc out

Wav in uncompressed, mp2 is compressed in a ratio that can be 1:20.
So what is your problem ?

kvcdman 09-08-2004 01:38 PM

Hi,
Why do you say it is only 14 minutes?
Where did you get that information?
Software? Which?
Cheers

kvcdman 09-10-2004 09:20 AM

Naw man i played it in winamp and after 14 min it stopped while the wav file was 139 min when i played it

Dialhot 09-10-2004 09:42 AM

Convert it with besweet. There isn't really any "fix" tool for wav.

kvcdman 09-11-2004 09:28 AM

Some guys don't do it on purpose.
They're just too much used to talk/write that way.
Of course, we need to ask them to refrain their habit :)
Cheers

[OT]Seeing as I come from England I don't consider that type of slang talk as English rather a slang Bastardised version of English.

I agree while it may be o.k for people to talk like that in every day life with friends I do feel it is more polite to use proper English when posting on forums like this, especially as a lot of people here are from different countries and English is not their native tongue.

I think out of good manners to them it would be polite to us proper English.

Going back to what Pro said God only know's whats in store for the English language in the next 20 years I dread to think about it. :D
