BeSweet: Error 84, error configuring bsn!

does anyone know wht the above error means, i cannot encode to mp4at the mo, i can do other encodes, e.g wav, but not to mp4. i keep getting this error?

Dialhot 02-19-2006 02:45 PM

bsn is the dll that talks to external mp4 encoders, as besweet does not have one and there is no free ones taht exist.
I suppose that besweet don't know your encoder and can't talk to it :?:

i dont understand, iv done aac mp4 on besweet several times before, and not had a problem, been using nero aac.dll aacenc32.dll in my besweet folder

You need these dll´s:
MFC71.dll
msvcp71.dll
msvcr71.dll

i dont get this, i didnt have those files before and my encodes were just fine?

i downloaded those dll. files and copied them to my besweet directory and tried encoding, im still gettng the same error message in my log

Dialhot 02-20-2006 05:03 PM

The mp4 support is very experimental. Did you retry the same source and use the same parameters ?
Why don't you ask on dspguru forum, on doom9 ?

sparskter 02-20-2006 09:44 PM

@Khusru
Try MEGUI to encode AAC[MP4-container] audios! And do not forget those dll´s on MEGUI folder.

I did not use besweet. But I tried MEGUI and it worked for me :D

khusru 02-21-2006 08:09 AM

okay mate will try, the reason i have been using besweet instead of megui to do the sound, is that there are more options, frame rate change, volume increase, things that u dont get in the megui front end.

i will try and let you know, il also make a post on dspguru.doom9

thanks , will let u guys knwo how iyt goes

well, you can convert to WAV in besweet using all it´s features and then work on it in MEGUI :D

@sparkster

yep, got nero 7 dll files saved in my besweet directory

sparskter 02-24-2006 01:18 PM

you need them on megui folder if you want to use megui.

khusru 02-25-2006 07:58 AM

tried it there as well mate no luck. but i just did a search with my title in google, and found a post on doom9 someone else having the same problem. ITs nero 7 according to them, licencing problems, and he tried the dlls from nero 6 and it worked. This problem only started happening when my trial ran out and i then i took a day to purchase serial, entered my serial, everything was unlocked (showtime, express etc) but then the error started.

i will try finding nero 6, my sister should have on her computer, i will let u know how it goes guys

thanks

sparskter 02-25-2006 10:04 AM

If you are going to try nero 6, do not forget to stick "I´m using Nero6 AAC Dll´s to encode" on screen nº 03 above :D
