Illegal Mpeg Audio Stream
 

I am in the process of trying to convert a .wav file to an mp2 file. I have used Headache and also besweetgui, but whenever I go to mux the audio with the video I get Illegal Mpeg Audio Stream using the muxing tool on TPMG and the same with BBMpeg it finishes with no audio what so ever. It only does this with certain files for me, not all files do this. Am I doing something wrong? Any reccommendations from you pro's ???? :D

What are the source files?
 

I have had that issue with hardware encoded MPEG2 DVR files. Specifically ReplayTV/Tivo files but also Video capture cards or other hardware encoders.

Sometimes you can rewrite the header information (not using TMPGEnc).

I bet these files would open in MPEG-VCR. One of the reasons I ever looked at the tool was because it would open strangely formatted MPEG files without complaining.
