YUV 4:2:2 Codec
 

Hi there...

Well I just noticed, when I select YUV 4:2:2 in DVD2AVI as output for previewing, I only get a black picture... Is that normal?

Is there a special YUV 4:2:2 Codec besides msyuv.dll ? :roll:

I get the same result when using OGO version for instance, but with 1.7.6 it works fine.

That's my problem too !!
On my second PC that is. That one i have setup specifically for Capturing
and Encoding.

However, on my MAIN pc, I see BOTH colors. There IS a difference in each :!:

* The RGB is Darker, while
* the YUV 4:2:2 is much lighter then the RGB (case you were curious)

All this on my MAIN pc only.
So, I must have the same issue you are having. Which codec ?? and how
do I install, etc. ??

Well I tried version 1.7.6 and 1.77c and both have the same problem...

Well sorry vhelp, I really don't know what's going on... I'll just try it out with RGB, and see how the results come out... :roll:
