BeSweet to vob2mp2 ?

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone tried using BeSweet to concert vob's to mp2 from
a streamlist. A streamlist is a small text file (.lst) containing the
location and the order of vob's used to create audio (i.e. mp2).

Sample.lst

c:\movie\vst_01_01.vob
c:\movie\vst_01_02.vob
c:\movie\vst_01_03.vob

etc.

Using BeSweet GUI, I was able to do the whole audio conversion
to mp2. Headac3he seems only able to process one input file at a time.

Hi black prince,

You can open your VOB's with MPEG Mediator, and export the AC3 audio to WAV.
Then open the WAV with headac3he and convert to mp2 with dolby surround.
It's very fast, and I haven't had a single issue of audio/video sync!

Thanks Kwag,

I've only used Mpeg Mediator to convert SVCD (mpg)
audio to wav files. I can't wait to try vob's.

I forgot to add that Mediator 1.4 does surround downmix to the WAV

Hi kwag,

Do you know if mediator makes the downmix to wav with the right dynamic compression? I don't remember where I read that DVD2AVI dowmix to wav don't make the right dynamic compression, so it was advised to just demux with DVD2AVI and use HeadAC3he (or BeSweet) for the rest of the job.

Not sure about that, but I've already done three movies with this method, and the results are better than when I processed the audio with DVD2AVI!
