528x576 video does not fill screen authored to DVD ?

I have make a dvd with a stream video that had a resolution
of 528x576 and I see it well on all my dvd player.
With that of my friend I see moved all on the left
the film and the imagine is not fitted in the tv,
I see the imagine as the frame 528x576 (with a big black border an the right). 8O
Anyone know this issue?

The "normal" KVCD resolution is 544*576 (3/4 DVD). The res 528*576 is a "second choice" resolution to use when the first one does not work.
In you case it seems that this is 544*576 that gives trouble where 544*576 will probably work.

You mean 528x576?

Then, I already have this stream (It's a recorded tv-sat) and his resolution
is 528x576.

Moreover I have burnt the file .mpg (528x576) on a Dvd-Rw and it work correctly on friend's player.

Why, when i do the authoring the player don't stretch the resolution
from 528x576 to 768x576 on tv?

there's a way to do that without to encoder?

You mean that you burn it direcly as mpeg file ? So I guess that the player handle Divx, doesn't it ?
That's "normal" : in data mode, these players can handle barely any resolution to face with th exotic ones taht you have sometimes with divx.

Because in this case the player switch into video mode, and it seems that it deos not hanlde other things than regular DVD resolution in this.
