Differences between SPTI and ASPI?

Hi folks... does anyone know the difference between this burn modes? SPTI and ASPI (ex. Nero and Windows)??

VCDEasy uses SPTI also, so I don't think its just Nero.

I believe SPTI is what windows uses for its mt. rainer burning prog built into explorer.
