OverBurn on a DVD

I just installed Nero 6.6.0.1 on my PC and in the prefererence I see that it allows overburn on DVD (defautl setting 4500 MB).

Is that possible ?
Does anyone already tried that ?

Note: it has also the possibility to burn short lead-out on CD that gives 12 more usefull MB on the disc. This can be usefull for people hating overburn.

I didn't think so :!:
But if it's there, I guess I have to test that :)
Maybe it won't work on all types of media and/or drives :roll:
