Authoring: DVDLAB PRO DVDLAB Pro shows 0 GOP on VOB?

DVD

Ripped with Decrypter3.5.4.0
Backup of main title with DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15

When opened in DVDLAB Pro (loading first VOB), I end up with 0-GOP

Then cannot autochapter and sound is out of synch.

Hi nicksteel,

Is this only with DVDLAB PRO :?:
Did you try another authoring program for this encode :?:
Maybe something went wrong, and you'll see the same behaviour with any DVD authoring package.

Also tried using TMPGEnc Author to output file and then read into DVDLab Pro. Same 0 GOP.

I can process with TMPGEnc Author, and will, but don't like menus from it.

If you try to open the DVD VOB directly with DVDLab, you get GOP error.

I guess only solution is TMPGEnc Author.

Thanks.

Did you let DVDLab to demux the vob when you import it ?
It is recommended to not use muxed VOBs directly.

Yes, I let DVDLab demux (first option on pop-up screen). Finally had to use TMPGEnc Author with no menu. Works and finds original chapters, but still wonder why 0 GOP. This happens very rarely.
