how to create motion Menus for DVD-R?

Hi all...

Is it possible to copy the menus from a DVD, and use them on your DVD-R? How do I do that? I don't know what to select for ripping them.

Otherwise is it possible to create moving menus with DVD-Workshop for example? I haven't found out how...

One more...... I read somewhere that it is NOT possible to fit 4.7GB on a DVD-R, but only about 4.3 Gigs...

Anyone heard of that, and why is that??

There's a guide over at vcdhelp.com that Adam made. It shows how to put the menus from a DVD on a VCD. Maybe you can use the same techniques and apply them to DVD.

4.7GB would be an "Unformatted" media. You're left with ~4.3 once you have the DVD structure on it. Just like a bare hard drive. Once you format it, say "NTFS", you're left with less space than it's RAW capacity.
