Video file Too big to burn?
The mpeg (vcd) I made is 786 MB big. This should normally fit on a 80 min CD-R.
But if I try to burn it with Nmero as as VCD it shows the file as 775MB...way too much to burn. Then I tried to make an image with VCD Easy. But the image I got is about 900MB big. Too big again. What am I doing wrong? |
theoritically, one could fit about 825 +- mb's on a 700mb cd,,,as you'd be burning in Mode2 {or should be anyhow} and if you're burning a kvcd or vcd, you;d be burning video {or audio as opposed to data, which you could get about 720mb or so with overburning}
You're file sizes are good to go---will fit on a 700mb/80min cdr. If possible try to burn at around 8x or so. Have a quick read thru the following guides over at vcdhelp.... http://www.dvdrhelp.com/nero.htm http://www.dvdrhelp.com/vcdeasyhowto.htm Ztr |
I`ve read a bit further here and came to the conclusion that it must have to with the muxing.
The m1v is 698 MB (mpeg1), the mp2 is 80 MB. What are the settings in BBMPEG to mux it, that I can put it on a 700MB CD-R(W) |

(ie: 800Megs = 80min Cdr) (900Megs = 90min Cdr) (990Megs = 99min Cdr) ect. That said...you may get a little more with "OverBurn" on each length of disc, depends on Burner and individual Media. ******************************* The Devil`s always.....in the Details! |
Sounds good vico thankx :D

I solved the problem by encoding the audio in 224kbps (it was 320:)
