M1V files on VCDEasy
Hi, I have created .M1V files using the KCVD template and now want to put them on a VCD using VCDEasy. How do I convert them to .MPG files so VCDEasy will recongnise them?

Hi mikesbytes, and welcome :)
You need to multiplex the .m1v with your .mp2 audio file using BBMpeg, before you feed it to VCDEasy. Go to www.kvcd.net and look at the guide " KVCD From scratch - A Users guide v1.1." under the "Articles section. -kwag |
Thanks Kwang,
After reviewing the guide I realised that the KVCD template was set to ecode the video without the audio. As my source is .AVI from a DV camera, the audio is still in the source. Seems I may have two choices; 1. Encode the audio separately, then multiplex with the video afterwards. 2. Change the stream type to System(Video & Audio) proir to encoding. |
Encode the audio separately with HeadAC3he, as described in Red-M's Guide.
