Two KDVD MPEGs on one DVD-R?

KWAG,

once again I congradulate you on your KDVD template, sure enough it works, got 2 2 hour movies down to 4.3gb or so , however when I try to build follwing instruction your mention on the info forthe KDVD template inside of DVDIt P.E 2.5 it shows build of being 5.33 gb, audio is set to dolby stereo 2.0, I am using prendered mpeg 2 files witn 192bit audio and it does keep file size down, but am at a loss as to why the 4.3 get turn into 5.33, I have added 20 chatper stop per movie but that I would think would not make the final disc image ( I plan on using Nero for the burn ) that much bigger would it?

I decided to adjust the build size to 5.33 and let DVDit demux away, sure enough it worked, but then I checked playabck on 2 system via the hardrives before I even commited to a burn. My audio went out of synch on both movies and there is a bad static much like the ol dreaded DMA pops you used to get with the old isa Sound Blaster 16 cards. I doulbed checked both movies and both play back fine on both computers ( the mpeg2 files ), but somewhere in the demuxing inside of DVDit it the audio ( got hosed ), any ideas?

Did you select "Convert all audio to Digital Dolby" instead of the default "Convert all audio to PCM" ?
I did "The Matrix" with the KDVD template, and the mpeg file size is 2,063,645KB. After processing with DVDit, and creating a DVD directory in my hard drive ready for burning, the VIDEO_TS directory's files are:

VIDEO_TS 12kb
VIDEO_TS 8kb
VIDEO_TS.BUP 12KB
VTS_01_0 72KB
VTS_01_0.BUP 72KB
VTS_01_1 1,048,544KB
VTS_01_2 1,045,394kB

yes for the project I had it set to convert all audio to dolby 2.0 stereo, the funny thing it depsite the 5.33 project size, when all was done it still fits ( 2 movies, ( Ghost Dog and Groundhog Day ) still fit, but the audio ( and I tried a second time this time with no chapter stop in either movie ) and it still messed up the audio synch and popping noises are in the movies.

I am going to see if DVD MF or WS will accept the mpegs and fit them both too one DVD ( though I will miss the dolby ).
