Burner problems or encoder problems?
Hi folks!
Im not sure what to make of this prob with my KVCD's... I have encoded 2 of my dvds and burnt them and have found that near that last 5 or 6 mins of the movie the kvcd starts to screw up playback in the standalone dvd player. If i have the original Mpeg still on my hard drive it plays back perfectly fine on my pc. I have taken other normal vcds and burnt them with no probs. Im just wonderin if this is an encoding issue or a burner issue. None of these 2 encodes were overburnt at all and yes.. it is cheap media :) but i havent really had a problem with them at all with other vcds. Im baffled :) BTW i have a Liteon 52x burner and use Nero.. most of the times i have to turn compats off and i have an Apex 1500 ad dvd player. thanks tks |
How fast are you burning your vids...
I know that burning video at faster speeds, can have an impact on `em. Not sure about the 1500, but I do know My 1100w Apex likes it when I burn at 8x, so I keep that burn rate, as a rule of thumb. Could be the cheaper media, but I doubt it.... I`ve never had a prob with `em either. ******************************* The Devil`s always.....in the Details! |
