VCDEasy does not like KVCDx2 mpeg file?

After adding and scanning the mpeg file, VCDEasy says "704x480" is not a valid resolution for forced film.

One stupid question, after I save file from FitCD, do I have to leave it running while encoding by Tmpeg??

You can close FitCD after you save your script.
To load your mpeg file into VCDEasy, un-check "Perform some mpeg compliance checks"

I had this problem also. But the unchecking fixed this problem. Then I get the Error: "VCDxBuild.exe" execution failed: image too big(491292 sectors > 449850 sectors). What's my next step in fixing this problem when using the KVCDx2-CQ-704x480-1CD template?

Thanks,

Hi Kenny,
Try burning one of the x2 samples on the site. They should burn correctly with VCDEasy.

Thanks for that bit of advice. However, I know the problem now. Using your template does not let me utilize the 4th page of the TMPGEnc wizard which lets the user calculate the file size to fit to one CD. Am I missing something here :?: :?

Hi Kenny,
You're not missing a thing :D
You can't use bit rate calculators with KVCD templates, or any other CQ mode encoding. You never know the exact file size using this encoding mode. You can only estimate the final file size. What you do is encode the video stream only, then depending on the file size, you choose an adecuate audio bit rate, and encode the audio stream. Then you mux both stream.
