Nero forces re-encode authoring a VCD?
 

hey all
I made a KVCD with 706x576 size and whi Try to burn it in Nero it asks me to reencode or urn the way it is, when I burned the way it is then the video although being crisp was slow on my dvd player and on the other playr when I tried it all the colors were messed up, what do I do please help

Do not use Nero Express if you used to; Use directly Nero Burning Rom. Turn off "standard compliance", check that the system is PAL and not NTSC.

And if it does not work that means that you player does not support this resolution.

o damn so u mean I gotta re encode it now and gonna waste another 3 hrs?

Not re-encode Load the Video without Nero Express. Or burn with VCD Easy.

And if your question refer to my warnign about PAL or NTSC, that Nero that let you set this point when you create a new project. You have to choose it yourself as Nero do not do any checking on that point.
