Program to burn DATA DVDs?
 

Hi there...

I'm searching for a good program to burn Data on a DVD+R for File Storage... That way, I can finally shrink my MP3 collection on my HD...

However Nero doesn't seem to recognise my new DVD burner... Don't know why! :roll:

What is your Nero version and Burner model ?

Ok, the Nero Version is pretty old...
Version 5.5.9.0 :roll:

Device is an LG-GSA-4040B Multi Writer...

This makes me crazy... How can I get Nero to acknowledge my DVD-Burner? It's just not in the list... :roll:
I really don't want to upgrade to version 6...

If it is not in the list, you can't :-(.

BTW I discovered this week than the pioneer DV106 can't burn CD90. It always fails at 93% that is 83 minutes :-(

Well ok, I upgraded to Version 6 and the burner is on the list now...
It just sucks to pay 18 Euro again, for a program which I already bought, just to upgrade... :evil:

Well let's see if it's worth it... Thanks for your help... Haven't tested mine with 90 min. CD-Rs... In fact I still have my CD-R burner set up to burn all my CDs...
