Burning jumps to 20% using Nero 6, then fails shortly after

Burning jumps to 20% using Nero 6 then fails shortly after, no matter which speed i burn at. I unchecked the standard compliance box, but it still jumps ahead... do i need to install any kvcd codec or anything to make this work?

No. But you have to install a Nero version that works with your burner (and vice-versa).
Nero insn't a full universal tool. Some burner brands do not like it (and the opposite).
