Avisynth: Anti-Noise Script?
As most DVD's are transferred from Film to Digital, and then encoded, they all seem to have quite a bit of film grain, or noise, in them.
I have spent the past 5 days (insert favorite expletive here)ing around with AviSynth and Van Helsing, trying to figure out the best way to filter noise without completely blurring the movies. My latest concoction looks as if you were watching the movie through a shower curtain. Really, the picture is blurrier than watching humminbirds have "relations". I was wondering if people could post their best de-noise scripts for everyone to view, and get a good idea how to de-noise. Whereas I know this is kind of an art form, and what works good for you might not work good for someone else. It would still be nice to look through and see what works for most people. Hope to hear! Thanks. |
