PureBasic 3.94 released
Hi guys,
This ain't fresh news but around mid-August PureBasic 3.94 for Windows was released. Cheers |
Thanks Rui :D
That's what I'm using now :) -kwag |
I had a look into its new code editior - even if they added some nice and useful options (folding procedures when listing code etc.) it still doesnt reach the real power of the coe editior "jaPBe" for PureBasic: http://www.gpihome.de/purebasic/jaPBe/
The Author GLI did a "phenomenal" Job! He could offer it for non free and gaining money! As jaPBe makes coding much more easier. And the package comes with many uselful include-files where a lot of good functions are included. A specific include file can be included while compiling via the compiler options menue. A little hint: If programming in PB you should prefer API processes if the same specific routine of PB you need exists in WinAPI. /OT Karl, did you search in the Linux API for a filereading-command which can break the 2GB barrier? I think of course you did. |

I think I should take a closer look :) Quote:
As a matter of fact, I reported to Fred a bug in Linux file reading API, and he acknowledged that it was a bug. I haven't checked if he has fixed it. -kwag |

Autofilling when entering PB commands or declarations, autofilling of variables names if the specific variable already has been declared, IDE tweaking etc etc etc etc etc etc |
