There are several designed filters. Some of them for DivX/XviD sources (search for Dialhot optimal scripts in DivX/XviD thread). Others for DVD sources (Kwag's optimal script). You can experience yourself with filters, but first try to apply pre designed ones. -------------------------- Visit: Intermediate guide: MencodeMe/Win32 - Avisynth - MakeAvis by Prodater64. thanx, man! i don't think it'll help though! i'm as thick as avisynth... |
You to speak english or we to have speak other language ?
All the words used by prodater are really simple. If you can't understand what he just said, trust me, don't waste your time and use it to do other things. Or explain better what you don't understand. |
did you learn English on Mars or something?

in english:
AviSynth is a very very powerful tool for video post-production. It provides almost unlimited ways of editing and processing videos. AviSynth works as a *frameserver, providing instant and very fast editing without the need for temporary files. *frameserver: A frameserver is an application that feeds video directly to another application. AviSynth and most other frameservers accomplish this by creating a fake file that other programs can read as if it were a very large (usually uncompressed) AVI file. but  i learn in "something" not in mars and maybe i can explain. avisynth is the envelop to transport the letter from the source to the encoder. the letter have all the words needed to the encoder understand how the source have to be used. is like a "how to"...do it using this and do that using another one but use this only if...etc! in "something" is better :?:  |

Thanks
In spite of the iffy remarks above, can I say thanks for the explanations provided? I am new to KVCD and encoding in general.., and this forum is giving me clues as to where the problems I am having originate (and it looks like avisynth.., of course it would be the software I am most ill-equipped to handle lol.., but I guess that won't last long). I have found the explanations in here very helpful, particularly the simple definitions given above. It is true that initially it can be difficult to find out which programmes (and there are soooooo many needed he he) do what exactly, but go thru the encoding process enough times and read enough stuff and it is even beginning to sink in thru my overstuffed brain lol.
However, I do have one question.., how on earth do I shut up my son who is at the constant whine stage cause I am hogging the PC so he can't use it lol? |
