Problem with filters
I finally figured out how to use the filters..I have tried 2 movies..one i used the fluxsmooth and the other spacedust and temporal cleaner.
I have a problem though.... I encoded the movie 2 times...one with no filters and one with spacedust and temporal cleaner. the one with spacedust had a lot less noise and had a better picture BUT it seemed to smooth out the movie too much and made it a tad blurry and washed out.. the one without the filter had a few more artifacts but was MUCH clearer and easier to watch. is there a way to use the filters and get a better clear picture? At this point not using the filters is easier to watch. scott |
Hi rqtball,
Try SpaceDust() + FluxSmooth() -kwag |
Hi Kwag
Thanks for the info...What would this combo do differently than the other combos out there? also would I still use blockbuster? I forgot to say I have been using that also.. scott |

Does this look ok? spacedust() fluxsmooth() Blockbuster(method="noise", variance=.4, seed=1) |
