MovieStacker and ToK :wink:
That's basically it. With MovieStacker, you create your basic .avs scripts, and then let ToK automatically calculate your CQ and encode your movie :!:

I'm assuming this is done when Tok runs several test clips with different CQ values in TEMPGenc. The "Initial CQ Value" can anything be put into that field? Is that relevant since TEMPGenc does the final CQ encode ouput?

Yes. I use a CQ of 75 to start off. Then ToK will find the optimal CQ and encode the movie.

I take it, that because the TOK sampler uses it`s set formula to run...that it
probably wouldn`t matter if you started with say...a CQ of 60 to start instead
of 75, if you were pretty sure it was closer to that value... :?:
(maybe cutting down on samples???)

Unless 60 was very close to the actual CQ needed for your particular movie. Then it would be a faster prediction :)
