Avisynth: DCTFilter?
 

Maybe I've missed this in some topic but should I only use the DCTFilter if my source is bad :?: Your final size will be larger if you wont use the DCTFilter. Is'nt it good that you can rise the CQ value if you use DCTFilter :?

I don't think DCTFilter has much of an effect on picture quality...but it does seem to reduce the size a little bit, so I would say use it anyway. :) Every little (bit of extra bitrate) helps, IMHO...
