Resize before or after filtering?

Hi,

I notice you resize the VCD output to the final size (e.g. 352x288)
quite early on your script. Is there any advantage in performing
the resize operation towards the end of your script, after all the
filtering has been carried out?

I realise the encoding will take much longer, but wouldn't you end
up with a 'cleaner' VCD as all the filtering has been performed on
the full-size source?

Thanks, Kwag, for a wonderful product.

It depends on the filter, it depends on the script...

Generally the place of the filter in the script is the result of lot of tests and is the best one possible. But you can of course try to change the position and see what you obtain.
