I have same as DKruskie. I always thought "NO FORCE" meant use default.

DO SOMEONE READ ME SOMETIMES ?

Quote:

Oh, just a little think : I also have "YV12" in the menu.
So according to you, what choice do I select in the menu ?

And seriouly, read slowly and carefully this line also and you will understand why I take all this thread as joke.

But seriously, asking if "YV12" is equivalent to "force to YV12" when the first choice is "no force" can't be anything but a joke. No ?

Phil,
i'm back cos no matter what adjust i do in xvid, without
ConvertToYUY2()
in the script CCE 2.66.01.07 don't work, and show the message:
" couldn't find appopriate video codec for " YV12" "
:?
don't know why!?!?

<edited>
found some answers here:
Q14.4 AVISynth 2.5 issues (can CCE decode YV12?)
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.ph...threadid=53770
" to get better chroma upsampling.

However, one possibility to feed YV12 directly into CCE is some external codec that decodes YV12 data for it.
This seems to work reliably only with CCE-SP 2.67.00.10 and newer, both DivX and XviD should do the job,.."

then i still need ConvertToYUY2() in the script for CCE 2.66.01.07 !
:wink:
